Laine Litman is the Chief Operating Officer of AVAT, where she oversees the firm’s operational infrastructure, governance framework, audits, institutional controls and human resources.

Prior to joining AVAT, she served as President and Chief Administrative Officer of Hidden Road Partners, where she helped scale the firm from early-stage growth through exit. Laine led the buildout of the firm’s operating, human resources, business development, compliance, and product functions, and oversaw regulatory approvals across the US, UK, EU, and Middle East.

Previously, Laine held senior leadership roles at Virtu Financial (formerly KCG), where she led fixed income, foreign exchange, metals, and ETF operations, and co-led the firm’s crypto initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held global futures sales and execution roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, and UBS. She is a senior operating and product executive with more than 15 years of experience building and scaling multi-asset trading, clearing, and financial services businesses across Treasuries, corporates, foreign exchange, ETFs, derivatives, and digital assets.

Laine received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School.
